1. avgusta 2025 je uradno začel veljati sporazum med EU in Kanado o vzajemnem priznavanju (v nadaljevanju: MRA) evropskega programa Pooblaščenih gospodarskih subjektov (AEO) in kanadskega programa Partnerji za zaščito (PIP), kar bo dodatno olajšalo trgovino in okrepilo carinsko sodelovanje med regijama.
