Po prvih znanih podatkih je Finančna uprava (FURS) v letu 2021 pobrala 19,212 milijarde evrov prihodkov, kar je za 2,930 milijarde evrov oziroma za 18,0 % več kot v letu 2020 in za 1,639 milijarde evrov oziroma za 9,3 % več kot v letu 2019. Če bi prihodkom v letu 2020 prišteli še prispevke za socialno varnosti, ki so bili na podlagi interventnih ukrepov plačani mimo FURS neposredno blagajnam javnega financiranja iz državnega proračuna, bi bili prihodki leta 2021 v primerjavi z letom 2020 višji za 2,323 milijarde evrov oz. 13,8 %. Dokončni podatki bodo znani po zaključnem računu v začetku februarja 2022.
